On Jan. 16, 22-year-old Shawn Bair opened fire inside an Elkhart Martin’s Supermarket, killing 20-year-old Krystle Dikes and 44-year-old Rachelle Godfread. Nearby police arrived at the scene quickly and shot and killed Bair.
